Keep in mind: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 'FREE' RINGTONES! I, and many many others have been burned by web sites that claim you can receive free ringtones.

Listen, there's no such thing as a free lunch and, believe me, the big phone companies and big record companies are not in business to give things away for free. Bottom line: I've ordered ringtones from dozens of companies and I've narrowed down the list of reputable and honest ringtone providers to three (see the end of this article).

Fact is, the best ringtone providers offer BONUS ringtones (not FREE ringtones). In other words, when you buy a certain number of ringtones or pay a monthly fee, they'll give you ten ringtones for free (that number is expected to go down so if you're thinking of pimping your phone, now's the time). Essentially, you're going to pay, on average, $1 per ringtone. if that point is not made clear on the web site of whichever provider you choose, move on to another provider's site (just read the Terms & Conditions -- usually on the home page).

Crazy Frog Racer To Launch In November 2005

Ubisoft announced today that it has signed a deal with Digital Jesters to distribute “Crazy Frog Racer”, the first Crazy Frog video game, which is set to launch for PC, PlayStation 2 and Gameboy Advance this Christmas.

“Crazy Frog Racer” is a fast, high-octane wacky races style game that will appeal to all fans, young and old. Players can either choose to play as “The Annoying Thing” and D'Ding Ding their way to victory or take on the role of one of eight other unique playable characters and beat the frog at its own game. There are 12 different tracks to work through, including cityscapes and underground mazes, plus the option to have a single-player game or take on your mates in multi-player mayhem.

"We are delighted to have formed this partnership with Digital Jesters," said Rob Cooper, managing director northern Europe/Australia-NZ/export at Ubisoft. "We're extremely hopeful that Crazy Frog Racer will be just as big a success as the other Crazy Frog products have been to date. This is a truly mass market game with wide appeal to a very broad audience."
Crazy Frog Racer is scheduled to launch in November 2005 for PC and PlayStation 2.

Crazy Frog Leaps To Top Of Aussie Charts

It's the most annoying noise around, yet the Crazy Frog has continued its rampage by topping Australia's music charts.

Rivalling the cane toad as the nation's number one pest, Axel F's Crazy Frog is the week's number one single, repeating its UK chart success.

A collaboration by German dance outfit Bass Bumpers and Jamster, the manufacturers of the amphibious ringtone, the song is set to the remixed theme of 1980s film Beverly Hills Cop.
Elsewhere, Akon's Lonely falls to number two, while Ciara's latest single, Oh, debuts at number seven.

While annoying to some, Jimmy Barnes' vocal assault provides some welcome relief from the frog on the albums chart, especially in his new soulful incarnation.

Debuting at number one, his Double Happiness album features collaborations with a number of Australian artists including Tim Rogers, Dallas Crane, and Troy Cassar-Daley. Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway continues on its rise to be at number two, followed by Foo Fighters' In Your Honor at three. Pop opera group Amici Forever's second album, Defined, enters the chart at number 10. Meanwhile, in the country music stakes it looks like Australia may have a new country music queen.

Crazy Frog Kills Verisign Revenues

Verisign's ill-judged adventure into ringtones took a stumble today, as the company said it would miss its Q3 earnings targets. Verisign blamed the shortfall on having to abide with regulations on mobile content in Europe: regulations it has largely provoked through its own business practices. Verisign now expects its Q3 revenue to come in at $410m, rather than the $435 to $440m range issued in previous guidance.

And the notorious Frog's to blame.

Last year Verisign snapped up ringtone provider the Jamba! Group, which this year embarked on a cynical saturation advertising campaign - at one stage buying up more than 50 per cent of prime time TV advertising in some markets - for its Crazy Frog ringtone. Jamba's Jamster didn't make clear that the youth market being targeted was unwittingly being sold a subscription service, rather than a one-off download.

The result was a predictable explosion in revenues, and an equally predictable backlash. Last week the British advertisers' self-regulator, the ASA, banished the loathsome amphibian from appearing on the nation's TV sets before 9pm.

The Children's Commissioner has slammed radio station The Edge's competition involving the uber-dance hit "Axel F" by Crazy Frog as torture.

Three mums and their children were challenged to listen to the song for three days straight. Commissioner Cindy Kiro says it could have a lasting negative impact on the children and she wants the remaining contestants set free.

Contestants Emma Lomas and her daughter Rachel, 7, have now listened to the Crazy Frog song 1,200 times.

A church offered them $2,000 to hop it on Wednesday, but they say they are going to stick it out until Friday morning to win $3,000.

"I come to the end of my week after I've paid for my three children with $10 max, so if people are going to think I'm being crazy over three grand then that's up to them, but to me $3,000 is a lot of money," says Emma Lomas.

MODERN menace the Crazy Frog sits alongside traditional favourites such as Barbie in an experts' list of toys tipped to be bestsellers this Christmas.

As parents prepare to spend an estimated £2 billion on presents this festive season, the Toy Retailers Association (TRA) has named a dozen must-haves which are new on the shelves.

Some toys, such as the Monopoly Here and Now board- game, are updated versions of old favourites. But increasingly sophisticated technology is driving demand for electronic toys for all age groups, the TRA said.

Most parents dread a repeat of the shortages of Buzz Lightyear in 1995, when toys based on the animated hero were sold out almost everywhere.

The group's predictions are based on feedback from shoppers, children and the latest trends in new products.

Among the most expensive toys aimed at young boys is the £90 Roboraptor - an electronic dinosaur character which comes with its own selection of moods including "hungry", "docile" and "playful".

For girls, the Baby Annabell now boasts real tears and a price tag of £40 - double the cost of the latest Barbie.

The Crazy Frog, a £12 toy character based on the irritating ringtone, is likely to be a winner with younger children.

Crazy Frog helps inspire a $35bn market

The ubiquitous Crazy Frog and its ilk won't be dying out just yet - realtones for mobiles are only just getting going, according to new research.

A new report from Informa Telecoms and Media predicts that by 2010, mobile music will be worth $11.3bn, with $6.8bn worth of realtones - mobile phone ringtones that sound like a real song rather than digitised music - sold by the end of the decade.

Ringtones of all varieties are expected to be worth $4.9bn this year, with almost all ringtones set to become real music by 2010.

According to Jessica Sandin, principal analyst for mobile content and applications at Informa Telecoms and Media, there's a direct link between the popularity of real music ringtones and the number of iPods flying off the shelf.

"Soon there will be more phones capable of playingmusic out there than iPods," she said. "iPods have helped in terms of consumer experience - getting them used to using and downloading music."

The recording industry's enthusiasm for mobile content will also help the market to boom - the report predicts content will be worth $35.8bn by 2010.

A WACKY Renfrewshire music fan has created a 'rip-snorting' rival for the chart-topping Crazy Frog - a potty pig called Honky!

Madcap Colin Henderson recorded his very own single about the exploits of the farmyard favourite after being driven hopping mad by the animated frog on his imaginary motorbike, which has featured in its own TV advert, as well as having a hit single and hugely popular mobile phone ringtone.

Now, the 31-year-old from Johnstone hopes the frog phenomenon will croak it, with fans going barmy for Honky Pig instead.

Buddies will soon be able to download the bizarre honking sound effect on to their mobile phones and set it as their ringtone.

And they can already bop to the tune of Honky Pig just by visiting Colin's website, where the pig describes himself as "very simple, but hugely entertaining".

Yesterday, Colin pleaded: "Get rid of the frog. Let's all honk like pigs!"

He continued: "The Crazy Frog is driving me mad - no matter where you go you can't escape it. It even went to number one in the charts.

"One thing I won't be doing is advertising like the frog does because it's disgusting the number of plugs that little creature gets.

"I don't know if Honky Pig will ever rival the frog because he's spent millions on promoting himself, but hopefully people in Paisley will take him to their hearts and download his song and ringtone."

According to its creator, little Honky was raised on a farm in Linwood, but ran away to settle at a new home in Gallowhill.

And he hopes to win over frog fans with wacky lines like: "When Honky comes to your town, he'll get more screams than Elvis. The girls love to see him shake his little honky pelvis."

Crazy Frog to hop into Australia

IF you thought frogs were on the endangered list in Australia, think again.

The hysteria surrounding an annoying, spluttering frog, which sprang to life as a ringtone, is set to spread to Australia.

The UK went hopping mad for Crazy Frog Axel F when it was released as a single there two weeks ago, pushing it to the No.1 spot ahead of Coldplay's Speed of Sound.

Local record companies are now locked in a bidding war, all trying to get the jump on each other to release it as a single here.

It was released in the UK on independent Gusto Records, which once had a licensing deal with BMG Australia (now Sony-BMG).

But a Sony-BMG spokeswoman yesterday could not confirm any deal.

"It's very popular. Any record company would like to have it," she said.

According to an industry source, the tune is still up for grabs.

The Crazy Frog novelty mobile phone ring tone has topped the British pop charts for a third week running, defeating a challenge from Irish stadium rockers U2, the Official UK Charts Company said on Sunday.

Crazy Frog's version of "Axel F", the theme music to the movie "Beverly Hills Cop", is the first ring tone to have reached number one.

The continued popularity of the catchy "B-ding ding dididing..." tune meant Bono's U2 had to settle for second place for their new release "City Of Blinding Lights", taken from their album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb".

Funk outfit Jamiroquai was the top ten's other new entry at number eight with "Feels Just Like It Should".

Chart risers included ex-British Army officer James Blunt, who soared six places to six with "You're Beautiful", and DJ team Audio Bullys jumped three places to seven with a remix of Nancy Sinatra's "Shot You Down".

American hip-hop artist Akon's "Lonely" slipped one place to number three, cartoon band Gorillaz were down one in fourth place with "Feel Good Inc", while American R&B singer Amerie was steady at number five with "1 Thing".

American hip-hop act Black Eyed Peas fell three places to number nine with "Don't Phunk With My Heart" and "Best Of You" from American rockers Foo Fighters sank to tenth place from four.

The album charts were dominated by Coldplay's much anticipated "X & Y", which shot straight to number one on what were anticipated to be near record sales.

Retailer HMV said it expected the album, the band's first since "A Rush Of Blood To The Head" in 2002, eventually to sell as many as 15 million copies.

||It may have beaten Coldplay to number one in the charts, but the Crazy Frog ringtone ad is driving some people, well, crazy.

A TV commercial featuring the chirping cartoon amphibian attracted around 800 complaints from members of the public, according to the Advertising Standards Authority.

Around 200 people complained that the commercial from ringtone company Jamster was targeting children as potential subscribers, while another 600 thought Crazy Frog was on TV too often.

Although the ASA has launched an investigation into the objections and passed them on to TV channels showing the commercial, it has no powers to rule on the frequency of adverts.

Nor is the watchdog able to ban an advert simply because people find it annoying, so it is focusing on the potential "financial harm" to children.

Crazy Frog was cleared in an earlier ASA investigation after viewers complained about his visible penis. ||

|Yes, this is the same Crazy Frog Axel F song that has just reached No. 1 on the British pop singles chart. This is the first time a cellphone ringtone has crossed into the mainstream music charts. Much has been made, in the British press, of the fact that the ditty has outsold the new single by Coldplay by nearly four to one -- as if that should surprise anyone.

The recording was the soundtrack to a hilarious animated video of a mad frog, made by another Swede called Erik Wernquist, which is where the frog title comes from. The manic shrieking noise was marketed as a ringtone by a company called Jamba. It has made more money than any other ringtone in history. Then the electronic DJ duo called Bass Bumpers made the arrangement of the engine sounds over the Axel F tune.

The tension this story causes in record company boardrooms can be best summed up by great punk impresario Malcolm McLaren, who was quoted as saying "Listen to this song and you can hear the death knell of the traditional music industry." His apocalyptic utterance is not necessarily gloomy; all he's saying is that the music industry will have to become something else. It will have to become responsive to a world in which anyone can make and distribute music almost entirely for free, and in which I can download several megabytes of music on to, I don't know, my camera. |

Why Engadget posted Crazy Frog on their website beats me. It's not even a gadget. Or is it ? Somebody wake me up. I guess its a ploy to get some traffic onto their website.

|Remember the good old days of five minutes ago when you could count on the singles charts being topped by (albeit, often crappy) conventional musical productions? Stop holding on to the past, yo. Otherwise top-of-the-chartsters Coldplay were given a sound 4-1 trouncing by one supremely ridiculous ringtone known as Crazy Frog Axel F, which moved in to the top slot on the British singles chart yesterday. "Crazy Frog Axel F," inspired by a ringtone based on the sound of a man imitating revving mo-peds, was the highest-selling single in the list compiled by The Official UK Charts Company (Official Charts). The chart takes into account sales of CD singles and downloads.

"Crazy Frog Axel F" is the first ringtone to cross into mainstream music charts, said Gennaro Castaldo, a spokesman for HMV, the British music retailing chain. The track is a reworking of Axel F, Harold Faltermeyer's theme to the "Beverly Hills Cop" films.

The critically acclaimed new single by Coldplay, "Speed of Sound," placed second in the British charts.

"Crazy Frog Axel F" replaced the Oasis tune "Lyla" as the No. 1 hit. The weekly singles chart, which has been released since 1952, is based on the sales of 5,600 retail shops across Britain. The Official UK Charts Company didn't say how many copies of "Crazy Frog Axel F" were sold or downloaded, but earlier in the week Castaldo said it was outselling the new Coldplay track by four to one.

The "Crazy Frog" ringtone has grown hugely in popularity among young cell phone users in Europe in recent months. ||

The Axel F ringtone leapfrogged Coldplay's Speed Of Sound to hit no.1 in the singles chart - the first time a mobile phone ringtone has crossed over into mainstream music.

The single by German band Bass Bumpers mixes the ringtone with Axel F, Harold Faltermeyer's theme tune from the film Beverly Hills Cop. That tune went to No.2 in the UK 20 years ago.

Robert Swift from Jamster, the company that markets the Crazy Frog, said: "It's a very exciting time.

"It just shows how much the music industry's changing. And whether you like it or not, enough people do to make the Frog no.1.

"We didn't come along and change the music industry. It's been changing for a while and people have been in denial. And this is the sort of thing that highlights it."

He thinks the song will stay at no.1 for another week and then fade away.

But a second Crazy Frog single is out soon, along with new ringtones featuring other characters such as Brad the Brat, Sweety Chick and Nessie the Tiny Dragon.

Jamster will not give details on its earnings from the tune but it's thought to have sold 11 million across Europe, as well as 40,000 items of clothing. Other merchandise - including musical birthday cards - will hit stores soon... |

Television adverts that plug the tune feature an animated frog wearing a broad smile singing the distractingly catchy "ding ding dididing...".

At number three in the charts was American hip-hop artist Akon's Lonely down from second place while at number four was "1 Thing" a new release from Amerie.

Cartoon band Gorillaz slipped one place to five with Feel Good Inc, just ahead of last week's number one from Oasis.

The one-time bad boys of Britpop enjoyed only one week in the top slot with Lyla, which was their seventh number one single.

At seven was America's Black Eyed Peas and their Don't Phunk With My Heart and at eight was Gwen Stefani's new entry Holla Back Girl.

At nine was another new entry, Audio Bullys featuring Nancy Sinatra with Shot You Down. Rounding off the top 10 was charity chart hit (Is This The Way To) Amarillo from Tony Christie and Peter Kay.

A mobile phone ring tone based on the sound of a revving Swedish moped was expected to top the British singles chart on Sunday.

Through Friday, "Crazy Frog Axel F," the first tune created for mobile phones to cross into mainstream music charts, was already outselling the new single of the group Coldplay by about four to one, the Official UK Charts Co. said.

This milestone may make little sense to anyone who has never downloaded a ring tone, but with children as young as 10 years old personalizing the sound of their cellphones, it is a sign that digital music in all forms has become a major entertainment medium for the under-30 set............

"Listen to this song and you can hear the death knell of the traditional music industry," Malcolm McLaren said.

McLaren, who has managed such best-selling acts as the Sex Pistols, Adam Ant, Bow Wow Wow and Boy George, added, "The world focus of creative expression is on the Internet, and the old-fashioned retail world is only now trying to catch up."

The single was expected to sell 150,000 copies in the seven days that end Sunday, far outstripping the 50,000 sales level that often merits top place on the charts, but still well below the cumulative one million copies sold this year of the best-selling single "Show Me the Way to Amarillo," by Tony Christie.

Compiled since 1952, the singles chart is based on sales at 5,600 retail shops across Britain. Sales over the Internet via digital download have been included since the chart of April 17, but almost all sales of the "Crazy Frog Axel F" came from retail stores selling the CD single, according to Paul Clifford, operations director of the Official UK Charts Co., a joint venture of the British Association of Record Dealers and the British Phonographic Industry.

HMV, the British music retailing chain, is selling the recording for £2.99, or $5.46.

"This song is incredibly irritating and puerile and we're still trying to understand why people like it," Gennaro Castaldo, a spokesman for HMV, said.

Indeed, the story of the song itself is a tale of Internet collaboration over time and across international borders between people who never met.

About five years after Malmedahl sent an e-mail message containing his moped MP3 recording to friends, it reached another Swede whom he had never met.

That Swede, Erik Wernquist, used the noise as soundtrack to a cartoon entitled "The Annoying Thing" that featured a blue frog with a goofy grin, motorcycle helmet and leather jacket. Nearly two years later, the sound was picked up by a company specializing in ring tones, Jambal, and quickly became their most popular download, becoming known as the "crazy frog" ring tone.

This year, two German club disc jockeys, Reinhard Raith and Wolfgang Boss, mixed the noise in with "Axel F," a tune from the 1984 Eddie Murphy film "Beverly Hills Cop," and released it this week as a CD single. Other versions of it are available for sale on various Web sites.

Jamster is spending a whopping $13 million this month advertising the cell phone tone in Britain, which sparked hundreds of complaints about the frequent commercials backing the tone that many find annoying.

Even so, an estimated 150,000 people downloaded the tone this week alone, The Guardian reported.

People also flocked to London-based music retailer HMV to buy the Bass Bumpers song that mixes the ring-tone with "Beverly Hills Cop" theme song "Axel F."

HMV said the German band`s "Crazy Frog Axel F" was outselling Cold Play`s "Speed of Sound" 4-1.

"Given the amount of exposure and advertising Crazy Frog has had, it shouldn`t be that surprising that it`s heading for No. 1," an HMV spokesman said. "The only real issue is whether the record label can press enough copies to meet demand."

The Crazy Frog's single Axel F combines the original ringtone with the remixed Beverley Hills Cop theme tune and the animated video for Axel F recently became the most popular video on AOL's music channel when it was streamed 199,000 times in one day, beating the previous most popular stream, Britney's 'Me Against The Music'. On the Crazy Frog's website www.axelfrog.com the video had over 500,000 viewings in 2 weeks.

A spokesperson for Gusto Records, the Crazy Frog's record company, said: "This late surge in orders from the stores last week caught us a little on the hop. However we have had three manufacturing plants working over the weekend to ensure that all orders will be met."

ANGRY viewers have bombarded the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) with hundreds of complaints about a TV campaign for Crazy Frog ringtones, which has been described by some as the most annoying ever made.

Amid growing criticism and worries that viewers were turning to the BBC to seek refuge from the saturation advertising campaign, ITV last night pledged to "review its position".

The ad is being run on ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 and around 100 satellite channels. Crazy Frog's owner, the American company Jamster, is spending £7 million on the campaign this month alone.

The ASA said it had received 400 complaints from viewers annoyed at the frequency of the 30-second advertisements, which run once or twice an hour across much of the day.

Donna Mitchell, spokesman for the ASA, said: "People seem to find it very annoying, but how often an advert is aired is not within our remit. We can only take action against the content of ads."

Such is the apparent level of viewer unhappiness that the ASA website gives visitors advice on where to complain about the Crazy Frog.

Few commercial TV viewers can escape the sight of a motorbike-riding frog during advert breaks.

The campaign is selling a £3 ringtone based on the Axel F theme tune from the film Beverly Hills Cop.

An ITV spokesman said: "The Jamster campaign has not broken any broadcasting guidelines at the moment, but we are reviewing the position."

The fast-growing UK ringtone market is worth more than £300 million a year.

IT could be the most annoying - and addictive - tune of all time, and it's about to top the pop charts.

Millions - especially children - have been downloading the Crazy Frog ring tone while their parents despair at the cost.

Now, to add to their misery, the infuriating tune has been released on a CD and pop gurus are already predicting that the song will go straight to Number 1...

An astonishing 11 million people in Europe have already downloaded it - and Jamster, the company selling it, has made a £10million fortune.

The commercial for the ding-ding-didalee mobile phone tune has been aired repeatedly on ITV, C4 and C5, alongside its equally irritating background, the theme tune to the movie Beverly Hills Cop - Axel F.

In fact, the Advertising Standards Authority has been forced to set up a special website explaining how to complain about Jamster, after receiving nearly 400 complaints about how often it is being shown on prime time TV.

A statement on the website reads: "We are aware of viewer concern about the current frequency of Jamster advertising and the terrestrial channels have been informed."

ASA spokesman Matt Wilson said: "We have been getting a lot of complaints about the frequency the Crazy Frog ad is shown. People seem to find it very annoying, but how often an ad is aired is not within our remit. We can only take action against the content of ads."

Exasperated viewer Ann Lambert, 57, of Maidstone, Kent, said: "The Crazy Frog advert seems to be shown all the time. Every time I turn on my TV the annoying tune is blaring out. It is driving me crazy."

That annoying thing, commonly known as the crazy frog. That sound was on a website, www.studentfreestuff.co.uk long before som muppet decided it sounded like a crazy frog, and a very lucrative frog too. If anyone is prepared to pay up to £4 for a 3gp video of this it is them who is surely crazy, especially after it became widely available on the intenet as a 3gp download soon after it appeared on every commercial break in the country.

It is about time these so called mobile clubs took a long hard look at what they have on offer, two primates passing wind, two birds singing on a washing line, but the saddest thing is the people who pay to own them, as if they are individual when 75% of mobile phones have some reference to a crazy frog.

I dont mean to be boring and i understand it is only a bit of entertainment but just adding the frog to the Beverly Hills Cop theme tune is, well a bit rubbish. I just think the Frog has had his time in the sun and shoul by now be well and truly sunburnt, and quickly replaced by something fresh and original like this little frog once was.

It's not often I get totally and utterly peed off with stuff. Generally I'm an easy going chap, happy with the world and everything in it. However, sometimes I can get extremely annoyed... today is one of those days...

I firmly believe that somewhere in the world, perhaps in a little hole buried deep in StupidVille, there's a big bunch of fools. Complete fools. Dim-witted, unintelligent, brainless, outrageously absurd freaks.

This is the song that is set to spawn a whole new genre of pop as the most famous frog since Kermit hops up to the mic. The Crazy Frog ringtone has been entertaining and infuriating in equal measure and will now be leapfrogging into the U.K. Top 10 singles chart. Be prepared to be blown away by both the original radio mix and the Tadpole remix.

It all started in a pub (the Inn On The Pond, if you need the name). Ex-Virgin Radio breakfast DJ Daryl Denham, his producer, Trevor Jordan and Radio One Top 40 presenter, Wes Butters, were having a drink when an ad for the Crazy Frog ringtone came on the TV.

The seed was sown and the very next day Daryl phoned his friend Maurice Cheetham, who has a studio in Liverpool, and the four formed Pondlife. Daryl and Maurice immediately started work on the track and, at the turn of the New Year, Trevor and Wes joined them in the studio to complete the froggie sensation.

When Wes played the track on his early show on Radio One, Chris Moyles heard it and declared it a surefire hit. "You either love it or hate it, there's no in between," says Wes.

What's next for Pondlife? "Well, if it becomes a hit I reckon we should follow it up with 'Frog On The Tyne, " says Daryl.

A recent online poll revealed that the ring tone had been downloaded 1 million times.

Lauren Dimmick tore open the presents on her ninth birthday, but only one stood out. Sitting in front of her was a spanking-new mobile phone.

"I'd wanted one for ages," says Lauren, now 10. "All my friends had one. My mum and dad take it in turns to buy my top-up cards so I'm not allowed to phone or text my friends very often."

The UK's first mobile specially designed for children was withdrawn from sale by distributor Communic8 earlier this year after a Government report raised health concerns. The MyMo phone was aimed at four- to eight-year-olds to use in an emergency.

But busy mother Lorraine Jackson (pictured below) thinks her children's safety is the priority. She gave both her daughters their first mobiles six months ago and now Lorraine, 43, has total peace of mind, able to contact 10-year-old Emily and Holly, seven, wherever they are.

"It's made me feel a lot more secure, knowing I can check they're OK," says Lorraine, from Red House Farm, Sunderland.

Lorraine, who works at the Gosforth Marriott, gets irritated by marketing ploys on TV encouraging children to download expensive ringtones. The Crazy Frog obsession recently swept the nation and is about to made into a hit record. An equally irksome character, Chick Sweety, plans to take over where the mad amphibian leaves off.

Not many children bother to read the small print at the bottom of the screen; all they have to do is dial a number and - voila! - Ringtone on the phone...and three more pounds of some child's phone credit drops into the Crazy Frog bigwigs' already bulging wallets.
